Validate bounded behavior at scale and remove old parser code only after integration parity is established.
Scope
Add generated large-feed and high-water tests for parser state, queue bytes, temporary-disk usage, parse passes, and cancellation read-ahead. Test malformed tails, consumer failures, cleanup, compression limits, XML limits, and language-detection bounds. After parity passes, remove superseded Feedex crawler parser modules, fixtures, dependencies, and configuration while retaining modules still required by discovery or OPML.
Acceptance Criteria
Thousands of large items stream with memory independent of item count.
Resource and cancellation ceilings are asserted.
Temporary files are removed on all tested paths.
Feedex and standalone mix precommit pass.
No shared parser utility is removed while FeedDiscover or OPML still depends on it.
Superseded code is removed only after integration and parity tests pass.
