Objective

Record current Atom and RDF normalization behavior before parser extraction.

Scope

Add fixture assertions for feed metadata, item fields, ordering, empty feeds, malformed input, and title-only cases. Cover Atom subtitles and links, HTML/XHTML content, author forms, dates, identifiers, canonical URLs, and RDF-specific behavior.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Atom and RDF normalized outputs are asserted field by field.
  • Empty and malformed cases are covered.
  • Title-only behavior is explicitly characterized.
  • Intentional behavior changes are documented.
  • No parser behavior changes.

Out Of Scope

Standalone implementation, parser refactoring, and Feedex integration.
